to indulge curiosities...

I began creating at a young age. I continued adopting new techniques and media into my  repertoire as the years passed. I've been recognized for my efforts having received awards for my photographs, paintings and sculptures. I studied art in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Baltimore, Maryland; Florence, Italy; San Antonio, Texas as well as at Oxbow in Saugatuck, Michigan. I earned both Bachelor and Masters' degrees from the Maryland Institute, College of Art.

My photographs have been published in local Baltimore media, internationally in the NACLA (North American Congress on Latin America) online and in Michigan Blue magazine.  I've spent time working in Washington D.C. at the Library of Congress, National Museum of American History and National Geographic Society In addition to working as a freelance photographer I teach art and photography workshops to adults, inner city youth and individuals with special needs.
