The temperature was zero. Howling gusts blew a frigid wind chill factor of -30. One of the oddest things visible, were the balls of ice that formed from waves rolling chunks of frozen water against the side of the cracked white cliff. (It didn't take long for me to choose my next destination; HOME!)
The first flakes of the season gently mix with sand on the beach to create this frothy site. On the shores of Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, Michigan.
